out of all the things we planned for the wedding, my most favorite part was collaborating to create our wedding zine/program with one of the best artist that we are so dang lucky to be friends with and i am so thankful for— Chloe!✨ @gloweeing surpassed my vision and made it 100x better. most importantly, she encapsulated Tim and I’s love for one another (and Cheese + Bean ofc), for the city, our goofiness, and excitement for collaboration with others (thank you @cozycubspuzzleclub for the super cute puzzles!!!) into something tangible. she didn’t cut any corners, while I literally punched-cut every one hehe, to make sure it was perfectly us.
but it wasn’t just the finished project that made it special, it was the spending time and hanging out, late night validation texts and laughter, going on spooky night strolls and sharing kind moments with my mom and sister while we put them together that made it that much more memorable. thank you so much Chloe for giving us one of the best gifts we could ever receive: your love, effort and friendship. we love you!!! i’m not crying, you’re crying!!! 😭❤️✨
this wedding was a true collaboration with my best of friends and dearest family. I’m glad to be able to finally share the cute details we worked on— more trickles of posts of gratitude and art coming!
My favorite part of preparing for book launch is collaborating with all of my talented friends on beautiful artifacts to extend the book into the world!
I’m learning so much from @gloweeing about the labor of love that is riso — the mental puzzle of separating channels, the care of testing colors, adjusting alignment, beautiful mistakes, surprises, master jams (eek!) — but it makes it all the more special when the print is finally done.
Come to a launch event in April and nab one of these lil bookmarks for yourself! Or preorder at vickitan.com/book 🥰

made these flameware donabe in 2023, took these photos in 2024, and finally edited them now that it’s 2025. I have so many ideas and half formed creative projects in my mind, only real to me. looking forward to which ones come to fruition this year.
🌁 In flight — dragon’s breath spreads over the water, cloaking the bridge. We circle once, twice, in wonder
