WE’RE HIRING!
Our Shop Foreman is responsible for managing and directing fabrication of structural steel, steel stair framing, metal guard and stair railings, and miscellaneous other structural and architectural steel and aluminum parts. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide solutions to sometimes very complex construction matters ranging from curved stairs and railings to heavy moment frames.
A candidate for this position must have experience from managing people in welding and metal fabrication operations. Other requirements include very strong ability to read and understand shop and construction drawings, keen attention to detail, accuracy and quality, good math skills (including trigonometry), and understanding of general steel construction tools and methods. Bilingual English-Spanish speaking and writing is required. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical issues for troubleshooting of tools and equipment is necessary. Well developed skills in managing people, schedules (sometimes quickly changing), and priorities are essential for our success. Communication with field and shop crews as well as other stakeholders is also of critical importance. Send resume to [email protected]
