Global SOF is proud to announce a historic milestone in its mission to support the Special Operations community.
After a dedicated three-year search, the organization has officially closed on its new global headquarters located in South Tampa.
This space will honor the history and heritage of the quiet professional while enabling the networks and capabilities required for the SOF of the future.
Innovation doesn’t come from massive organizations alone, it starts with small businesses willing to take risks, move fast, and solve problems others can’t. But turning innovation into impact requires more than just a good idea.
Colonel Stu Bradin discusses with host, Fran Racioppi, the critical role small businesses play in national security and Special Operations. While organizations like SOCOM rely heavily on small business innovation, Bradin explains that success often creates its own challenges. Many companies don’t fail from lack of opportunity, they fail from winning contracts they aren’t prepared to scale.
To bridge that gap, partnerships with larger corporations and private equity become essential. These relationships provide the resources, infrastructure, and reach needed to take innovative solutions from concept to capability. What emerges is a symbiotic system, where small businesses drive innovation and larger organizations enable execution at scale.
