MOFA - March: Join us at the circus
Not the one we remember, but the one we are becoming.
At the center, a butterfly, a design every face painter knows: familiar, structured, timeless. But here, it becomes something more: a symbol of freedom and transformation.
Its wings carry the pulse of the circus: red and white rhythms echo the tent, edges melt into theatrical shapes, somewhere between makeup and motion.
Classic circus tones: red, blue, and yellow warmed by orange, lifted by gold, creating a balance between nostalgia and energy.
A hint of vintage texture runs through it all, like a memory we can still feel. The clown painted as a centerpiece is not just a character, but a symbol: the soul of the circus. Surrounded by movement, by rhythm, by the invisible dance of objects in the air.
And behind it all, almost fading into the background, the animals. Still present. Still powerful. But quieter now. Softer. No longer the performers, but symbols of what the circus once was.They step back… so something else can step forward.
Human expression. Grace. Control. Possibility.
On the neck and across the wings, bodies bend, twist, transform, reminding us that the real magic was never control… but what the human body and spirit can become.
This is not a story about the circus. It’s a story about evolution. About beauty that adapts. About freedom taking center stage.
