The Africa Business Leaders Coalition’s new trade paper, Five Mindset Shifts to Unlock Intra-African Trade, reinforces an important message: Africa’s economic opportunity will depend not only on ambition, but on faster implementation, stronger regional coordination and greater investment in African value chains. Developed from a range of interviews with ABLC CEOs, paper outlines five key shifts needed to help unlock intra-African trade: - Synergy, not separation, will drive Africa’s growth. - Africa can produce, not just supply. - See mobility as an opportunity, not a risk. - View infrastructure as networks, not monuments. - Africa’s time is now, not in a decade.
