We’ve learnt through @jci_nigeria Junior Chamber International, Nigeria that meaningful change happens when people, institutions, and ideas come together in service of a common good. It’s a Privilege to share that Earlier today Myself and a delegation from @futo.jcin comprising of Executives and a board member,had the rare Honour to pay a Courtesy visit to the Director General IMO state Broadcasting Corporation @945orientfm Chief @ifyonyegbuleofficial (FCAI, FIOGR, MNGE) , a very prominent figure in the state. The courtesy visit was strategic to our Local organization especially for our upcoming Flagship project, THE PROF NNENA OTI LEADERSHIP ACADEMY. (#PNOLACADEMY). Through this vist we were able to secure a partnership with IMO state broadcasting cooperation, Which will also include live coverage of our PNOL academy Grand Finale. Also through this Vist we were able to secure the DG of IBC Chief @ifyonyegbuleofficial (FCAI, FIOGR, MNGE) as a keynote speaker and Guest of Honour for our PNOL academy Grand Finale. The visit itself wasn’t just the highlight of it all but the conversation which we had with @ifyonyegbuleofficial (FCAI, FIOGR, MNGE) really shaped my mind and thought process, she was really inspiring through her words of encouragement and advice, she truly is a leader worth admiration and role model to young leaders out there. As a gesture of gratitude and honor for her warm reception and hospitality towards us despite her tight schedule and short notice visit request, to conclude the meeting, we presented her with a commemorative plaque, symbolizing our shared values and a firm commitment to this new partnership and a reminder to her that JCIN FUTO truly admires the great work she’s putting out there. TRAIN TO IMPACT! There’s something deeply fulfilling about teaching where people are genuinely eager to learn, grow and become better. I had the privilege of training over 50 intending members of JCIN FUTO @futo.jcin on project managements 3 weekends ago, and beyond the session itself, the feedback I got afterwards reminded me why I do this, see slides for reference. Slide 6: the face of the amazing trainer, MYSELF! Slide 7 stayed with me, the participant read through my biography and said she wasn’t surprised I had coke this far, the truth is this really got me thinking deep and expressing my gratitude to God, one who has helped me this far, I’m sincerely looking forward to what’s to come, because it just only got started. Slide 10: the participant mentioned my sense of humor during the session and expressed how much she hoped for more session with me, truth is I had told the participants before the session that they might not get the best of me due to the long week and weekend I had experienced prior to the meeting time, but then I told myself, what is worth doing at all is worth doing well. Honestly, if you teach, lead, speak or build people, then you know what feedback like this means. It means the message connected It means the room felt the passion It means the impact went beyond the slides For me, training is never about passing information, it’s about helping people see possibilities, think differently, and feel empowered enough to lead, build and execute confidently. To every participant in that room, thank you for your energy, attentiveness, engagement and kind words. You made the experience memorable for me too. The future of sustainable development will not be built in conference rooms alone. At Junior Chamber International Nigeria, we believe in seeing the need and taking the lead. ♻️🌍 Yesterday, I had the privilege of leading an amazing team of Executives, Board Members, Intending Members, and volunteers of JCIN FUTO on a community clean-up initiative at Federal University of Technology Owerri themed FROM WASTE TO WORTH PROJECT CLEAN UP FUTO. This initiative combined awareness with action, promoting environmental sustainability, active citizenship, and youth-driven impact as part of our Intending Members Training focused on Community Action. Beyond the clean-up, the project reminded us that sustainability is everyone’s responsibility. We served with joy, passion, and enthusiasm and the experience was truly impactful. This initiative aligns with the UN SDGs: ♻️ SDG 3 – Good Health & Well-being 🌆 SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities & Communities 🌍 SDG 13 – Climate Action 🤝 SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals Special appreciation to every volunteer and to Junior Chamber International Nigeria for continuously promoting active citizenship and sustainable impact. Traffic congestion on campus isn’t just an inconvenience it’s a systems problem. My recent and just concluded seminar work at Federal University Of technology Owerri Nigeria a prerequisite to my Final Year project shows how integrating CCTV and IoT based monitoring can transform traffic management through real time data and smarter coordination. The future of campus mobility is data driven and it’s feasible. Earlier today during my seminar defense, I spent over 45 minutes discussing my Research work with my Lecturers not necessarily because it was difficult to defend but because the problem my Seminar intends to eradicate, affect each and everyone that happens to be in the university either as a staff or student which led to further conversations on the related Topic. My Seminar explored how congestion caused by manual traffic control can be improved using CCTV, IoT sensors, and real time data systems. My lecturer was so intrigued and gave me a lot of insight amd suggestions on way to expand the scope of the Study even further than my FOCUS AREA Which is Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria I’m glad for this opportunity to learn and very excited to explore more greater knowledge and possibilities. A journey of profound uncertainty that stretched my tolerance, challenged my strength, and demanded every Bit of my courage and determination. Today I Celebrate Exactly 100 days in office as Local organization president of Jcin Futo. A Local Organization I hold dearly to my heart. Many times my Friends ask me “does JCI pay you salary “ and yes you already know the answer is No, many times my friends tell me that I’m just stressing unnecessarily for an organization that I don’t own and all this doesn’t matter after school that I should focus more on building for “after school life” and cut down JCI activities. My drive is simple, I’m very passionate about people’s growth and development, JCI gives me the platform and structure that enables me to actualize this desire of mine. I believe that one major problem of our generation is Lack of orientation and we need more persons who will be more committed to stand up and inculcate in young people the culture of excellence, Teach them the path of growth and the might to challenge the status quo. I’m glad to record and celebrate significant growth during my administration as president, especially in membership strength, Retention and project execution. A local organization that as of last year had barely 30 members to which only 15 of them were active members. But during the first quarter of the year for the administration we currently have 106 members, 38 of them are board of directors and Executive which is a key and fundamental component for retention in the XCERL8 administration.
