What started with an in promptu coloring session grew into an incredible friendship filled with Disney movie nights, family dinners, gay concerts, live theater shows, and longgg late night✨trauma✨dumps #iykyk
We were there for each other thru crushing heartbreaks, medical diagnosises, difficult boundary changes, and SO MANY levels of self discovery.
Roommates, sure. But you’ve definitely been more like a sister to me over the years 🫶🏼 I feel like we found each other at the exact right time- we needed each other. 💙 Thank you for always being honest with me when the truth was hard to hear and for lying to me about when a concert starts so we can actually get out the door on time 🤪
I’m so incredibly proud of how far you’ve come. It’s been an honor to be apart of your life journey as you continue to embrace more and more of the Badass Slytherin Lioness you are 💪🏼😎🐍🦁
This isn’t the end for us of course, but it is the end of this Friends Household Era we created where we write inside jokes on the chalkboard wall and yell BLESS YOU from across the apartment after one of us sneezes 🥲The kitty will miss jumping on your desk during your meetings and I will miss you randomly laying on the kitchen floor to avoid blacking out…

Year 24- it’s been weird.
Honestly, I’d expect nothing less, though the lessons were intense. From work/life balance to physical health challenges, I’ve gotten stronger in more ways than I ever could’ve imagined. I’ve lost good friends and I’ve lost bad habits. I’ve gained more mental clarity than ever, and yet my existential angst has never been higher 😂
☝🏼 The irony of that has been a great motivator.
SO MUCH can change in a year. That will never cease to amaze me. And although my hope for humanity sometimes feels like an emotional roller coaster, I would much rather be hurt and disappointed than detached with my heart frozen over.
All of this being said…

6 hour flight, 5 thousand miles, a 4 hour vet visit, 3 rounds of sedatives before each flight, 2 flights total, 1 emotionally attached kitten 🐱
That being said- Linah traveled really well actually! A little discomfort but I did reach in to pet and soothe every once in a while ☺️ I can’t help it! Plus, she did pick up on my GAD spiking up (cuz, ya know, people lol) and I could tell she really liked being with me thru it.
What a cutie kitty 🤗
5/10 would recommend for longer trips only. She was definitely needed on this one and did her job very well.
