Maybe to some I'm setting myself up for failure, maybe to others I already failed . To some our whole value is determined by who you know and how middle men around you can exploit you , your music , your " traction" your support for fucking money or social climbing and whatever else. And if you don't let them you're deemed useless and unworthy. If you don't let people walk over you , you're knighted as a bitch . If you have self respect, you're difficult. If you're a friend to some you're an enemy to others . I don't have a huge social circle, I don't have a family who cares, I'm not conventionally attractive . None of those things make you a fucking artist . I don't want to be popular. I want to be honest , I want to be ugly . I want to be raw and emotional with my art . I don't want to be liked by everyone. I want to talk to and connect with the awkward and lonely. The overlooked and unpolished. This part in 13 is coming to terms with accepting being misunderstood. Owning it .. And freeing myself from fucking caring. I am , can , and will continue to be successful without losing myself or my morals and integrity .
