Today we mark Cosmonautics Day — a moment that takes us back to 1961, when Yuri Gagarin became the first human to journey into space, opening a path that continues to define our trajectory.
More than six decades later, space exploration has entered a new phase. What was once a geopolitical race is now a broader, increasingly collaborative effort with long-term objectives.
The Artemis program reflects this shift — focused not only on returning to the Moon, but on establishing a sustained human presence and enabling future missions to Mars.
From Vostok 1 to Artemis, the progression is clear: increasing capability, deeper space access, and long-duration mission planning.
Today is not only about history — it is about continuity in exploration and the systems being built for what comes next.

The Diário de Notícias has published an inspiring article about Hari Budha Magar, the former Gurkha soldier who lost both legs in Afghanistan and made history as the first double above-the-knee amputee to summit Mount Everest 🏔️
After losing his legs in 2010, Hari refused to give up. In May 2023, he stood on top of the world, proving that courage and determination can overcome any obstacle.
In September 2025, Hari took the stage at GLEX Summit Canada, sharing his incredible story of resilience, humour, and hope — reminding us all that truly, no legs means no limits.

Last Thursday, our three young explorers lived one of four epic days in NYC! They visited the Explorers Club HQ, received their diplomas, and even got to explore the city that never sleeps. All part of their Explora Açores prize!
