I took a break from painting to do some printmaking today! This chicken Linocut was so well-loved that I had to completely remake it from scratch. Five years later and it’s still a favorite of mine!
Birthday tulips from @moonshot_farm !! I am so happy with how this painting turned out. I painted over the table color about four times though 😆 the light blue ended up being the perfect compliment to the dark blue background. Available on Etsy 🧡🧡

Start a painting with me ✨ When I got these flowers from my husband for my birthday I knew that I would have to paint them. Tulips are now becoming one of my favorite flowers. I love the vibrancy of their colors, simplicity of their shape, and smooth bouncy texture!
I feel like I’m in a whole new season of myself as an artist. I see inspiration in many things around me whether it’s my farm, my students artwork, memories, or other artists. I feel very full of inspiration, which has not always been the case. I feel really grateful for this moment and I hope soon that I can bring more work and joy and happiness into everyone’s life.
I used reference images from Scotland for this picture as it’s a place that whenever I will get enough money, I would love to go back and visit. I have some of the most amazing and special people in my life living there.
