I started spray tanning in 2014— in a tiny makeshift home studio in my small town with a long list of loyal clients who believed in me before I fully believed in myself.
I worked full-time jobs and sprayed late nights and weekends because it lit me up. It was my creative outlet… the place I felt aligned and proud. I moved studios, kept leveling up, and trusted that every step mattered — even the messy ones.
Then I pursued my dream of being a flight attendant, while still managing to spray tan during my time off. When Covid hit and I was laid off for a year, I had a choice: wait for someone else to decide my future… or finally choose myself.
So I went all-in on the one thing that I knew best.
I sold my business, moved to San Diego, and opened a studio that quickly became one of the top-rated in the city. I was fully booked, spraying my dream clients, and did over 2,000 tans in my second full year.
But success still felt incomplete without connection.
So I created Glow Gang — a space for spray tan artists to learn, grow, and feel less alone. I shared everything I had learned from building my business from the ground up in weekly zoom calls… and in return, I gained friendships and community that still mean everything to this day.
And then — I stretched again. Glazed Sunless was born, a vision I had written on paper, many years before.
Not just to create a solution… but to solve real problems I kept seeing: solution overwhelm, missing pieces, lack of education, and artists losing confidence before they ever had a chance to thrive.
This journey has had high highs and really tough lows. Tears, celebrations, doubt, growth, and faith.
I wouldn’t trade any of it.
Nothing happened overnight. It took years of consistent work, trial and error, community, and choosing to believe in myself — even when it was hard to.
The sunless industry gave me more than a business.
It gave me purpose, confidence, friendship, and a life I never saw coming.
And somehow… I still feel like I’m just getting started🤍✨

One of the biggest reasons? Moving our website platform to something far more functional for the high volume we handle daily. What used to take us hours (and sometimes days) manually creating shipping labels, now takes just minutes to generate hundreds at a time. A truly rich result comes down to:
• Choosing a bronzer blend that complements the client’s undertones or desired outcome
• Adjusting development correctly — whether that means a longer rinse time with a rapid or selecting a higher DHA percentage with a standard solution.
• And most importantly… saturation. Don’t be afraid to lay it on. 2.5–3 oz is the sweet spot for those ultra rich, bronzed results. Heavy bronzers = deeper payoff.

1. Every single one of our bronzer blends was a true first of its kind. We created Glazed to fill what we felt was missing in the industry, pre-customized bronzers formulated with real intention, so artists could stop overthinking and start creating flawless results more confidently.
2. Glazed solutions are fully water based (amazing for all climates) 💧 Which means if you’re switching from a thicker or non water-based line, you’ll likely need to lower the airflow and output on your machine for the smoothest, most even application. Tiny adjustments = huge difference.
3. Every Glazed solution contains a neutral brown bronzer. Even our violet and olive blends. That’s how we keep results looking rich, natural, wearable, and more ‘universal’ than not instead of overly dramatic or artificial.
