RIP the great Robert Duvall. Duvall came to SVA in 1983 to talk about Angelo My Love, a film he wrote and directed, with SVA Filmmakers Dialogue organizer Ralph Appelbaum. And in 1979 he showed up for SVA’s artists and curators tennis tournament! He’s photographed with SVA founder Silas Rhodes.

Which horse do you think will be your vibe for 2026? We’re feeling the Robert Weaver piece 🐴 🫂

Presenting the first issue of Carton Club, a collaboration between the Archives and the Visual Arts Press! This one is devoted to Seymour Chwast’s real and fanciful gum packaging. SVA community members can pick up a copy in the SVA Library, Library West, and the SVA Student Center. Or go to link in bio to see a digital copy.
