Mother of the groom came correct 👍 Motherhood doesn’t stop with the first birth.
With every new addition to the family — a child-in-law, a grandchild, a great-grandchild — we open our hearts again as if birthing them ourselves. When our family grows, our hearts grows too
At every of our birthing stage, God will not leave us stranded (what this song says). May our joy always overflow and our families be full of joy , love and laughter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

One look from Kenny’s 40th birthday shoot
Some images don’t just happen… they are built.
This look started as a feeling before it became a frame. I knew I wanted something bold, regal, and deeply rooted in culture but still modern, still fashion.
We began with color. During our initial consultation, she told me her outfit was Oleku and Gold (I was like wow! LOUD!)
I am not the type to shy away from colour changes so I started looking into the colour of Gold, Not just because it’s a colour that connotes luxury, but for what it represents - Power. Identity. Presence.
Then came the contrast. Kenny wanted to accessorize with RED! That striking red. The kind that refuses to be ignored. So I had to think, how do I make every element speak to each other without competing?
I knew the styling had to be intentional and at some point I was scared of where my brain was taking me to. I knew the gele had to be more than just an accessory. It had to become the crown, the statement, the anchor of the entire look. So I recommended big and loud! The textures, the jewelry, the silhouette all layered to create depth both visually and culturally.
Then came the backdrop, and this part mattered deeply to me. I did not want just a background. I wanted a world. Something that could hold the strength of the gold without overpowering it. I started thinking in layers. Soft distant mountains (thanks to my many mountain trips). A sky that shifts from warm sunset tones into deep blues. Something calm yet powerful. Almost like a memory or a place that exists between reality and imagination.
Finally, we shaped the story through posing. Strong. Controlled. Almost statuesque. Every angle was meant to feel like she exists between worlds. Soft and powerful. Traditional and editorial.

Olamide’s mum @adefunkified reached out to me on August 19, 2025, for her 21st birthday photoshoot. She wanted the shoot on February 14, 2026, ahead of the big day on April 15, 2026. This is what I call top-notch planning 👏🏾
Because so much thought and effort went into planning, I really wanted to make this shoot extra special… and honestly, 21 is such a special age.
I was brainstorming during my Saturday walk when I saw a branch and broke it off its stem (don’t tell anyone 🤭). That moment sparked the whole idea.
I wanted to create something around the twists and turns of life… because life really starts opening up at 21.
My desire for you, Olamide, is that as you turn 21, you see your path clearly and walk in it boldly ✨
