I couldn’t make it to the Cliff Jumps farewell party this past weekend, but I did catch @sawyer_p0 there recently. Are these doomed jumps the most scenic of all time?

A short visit to @fortshasta (that we now seem to share with a resident bobcat) and a lovely T Day dinner with family.
Not pictured was a lot of couch time after throwing my back out … while @lauracook took care of me.
This wasn’t our normal Baja run of dirtbag camping on (mostly) lonely surf breaks. Instead, we spent about 10 days aboard a prodigious sailing vessel with friends from way back and my older brother Rick. I can now see the charm of traveling under the power of nature and hypnotic cycles of living at the whim of sun, moon and their derivatives of wind, tides, swell, etc.

A few clips from last weekend in Portland at the @made.bike show/sauna. I was just there to grab a bit more footage of the @allbodiesonbikes crew and to catch up with a bunch of old friends.

Filming at the @downievilleclassic was a hoot. The vibe at the river was spot on, trying to keep up with @dain_zaffke on the xc course was real, and all the different flavors of riders was refreshing. This is the kind of “bike racing” I’d like to see more of please.
Thanks to @leatt_mtb for the support and @santacruzbicycles for the Bullit loaner . . . such a great rig. Also, @peakdesign kept all my camera gear safe and accessible over the weekend.
