Cremino, /kre’mi.no/ (plural: cremini), is an irresistible three-layered chocolate with a unique, creamy, melt-in-the-mouth texture.
It was invented in Piedmont in the late 19th century, where the local, top-quality hazelnuts were added to the chocolate mix, to create one of the best flavour combinations in the chocolate world.
I have played with the original format by using dark, milk and white chocolate together, pairing them with hazelnut, peanut or pistachio paste. What’s your favourite?
My box of cremini contains 18 six peanut flavoured, six hazelnut and six salted pistachio. They are all hand-made in Italy especially for me!

I have been borrowing from my engineering background and designed a few baking tools to make bakers’ life easier.
Size does matter: with its 50cm/20in length, this solid beech rolling pin is longer than anything you can find at most retailers, so you can roll your pastry in a single swipe.
No more guesswork: It comes with a set of food-grade silicone gauge-rings to roll always the perfect pastry or dough.
The rings are colour coded and clearly marked with their 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 8mm or 10mm thickness. Just slide a pair at either ends of the rolling pin to get the perfect thickness, and no feathering at the edges. Effortlessly!

Longest tiramisù 🧑‍🍳 440.58 m (1,445 ft 6 in) achieved by Mirko Ricci in partnership with a Carnevale 1966, Forno Bonomi, Sterilgarda, Illycaffè, Eurovo, Gelecta, Bontà Italia and Complitaly TV, in London, UK.
The enormous tiramisu’s structure was created by over 100 chefs with a long snake like-design, each section assembled carefully to ensure consistency, presentation quality and accurate measurement throughout the full distance. It was created to celebrate Italian culinary heritage on an international stage and to bring together leading Italian food brands, hospitality partners, embassies, and the public. The recipe used for the record was given the seal of approval Masterchef celebrity @iginio.massari
