Hey everyone! I’m Galina, a visual storyteller based in NYC. With nearly two decades of experience across industries (from banking and gas & oil to hospitality) I’ve always been driven by a passion to incorporate artistry into every project, capturing moments that inspire happiness and preserve cherished memories.
My journey began in 2011 when I left Moscow and set off for Thailand. There, immersed in dynamic culture and breathtaking landscapes, I explored fine art, graphic and web design, discovering my skills for visual storytelling. This led me to dive into photography and videography, where I found my true calling. Inspired by wanderlust, I also launched my first tourist magazine, “Club Koh Chang”.
In 2018, after a transformative journey through South America, I arrived in the U.S., captivated by New York City’s energy and possibilities. I pursued studies in art and design and committed fully in May 2023 to photography and videography, specializing in creating compelling visual content that tells stories and leaves a lasting impression.

This beauty shoot was all about capturing the final wedding hairstyles created by @nas.hairstylist students.
Each student presented their bridal hair work in a real shoot setting, building their makeup artist portfolio and gaining hands-on experience in front of the camera.
I love working with new artists and being part of their journey as a NYC photographer, sharing tips, guiding them during the shoot, and helping them create strong portfolio images.
