After saying goodbye to Chichi, not one month ago, Mini started showing her age as well, and was likely fighting her battle silently for a long time, before it was too much for her. I didn’t really have time to grieve for chichi because I was so worried about mini, and now mini is gone I am hit with both their deaths so heavily. Chichi was my cat, but Mini was mine and Paul’s, and we were hers. She was anxious, a foodie, and loved sleeping in between us. She felt safe with us, and I’m glad we were able to give her that in her last years. She would have been 15 in October, and I am so grateful for the time we had. Please, if you have a pet, hug them a little tighter, and always always always look out for them, as they look out for you ❤️🌻

words can’t really do it justice how empty I feel without her. chichi had such a personality and was my everything. I feel lost when I walk around my house now that she isn’t there to greet me as I walk into a room. for such a small cat she made such a presence and the house feels so quiet without her.
on Tuesday 27th, I had to say goodbye to her, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that feeling of her looking into my eyes and knowing that we were both connected and she was content, and ready.
she’s been in my life for 17 years so there’s a lot of people throughout my life I will have bombarded with photos of her, so knowing this is the last time I will do that feels so fucking heavy, but I want her lovely face and memory to live on, and I want the people in my life to understand, if they don’t already, how important she was and is to me, and that I will forever be changed because of her.
I love you so much, with all my heart and soul, have a good nights sleep chichi ❤️

what a year it has been, I can’t believe it’s over, I will love and cherish every person I’ve met on this course and will forever be thankful for the fact that we all came together and supported each other every single time. I love all of you more than words can say, and can’t wait to all work together again one day 🌻
