oday I popped by “The Judge’s Quarters” by Shaan Syed, a full series shown together for the first time. Inspired by an old courtroom in london, now known as “Sessions Arts Club”⭐️, where power, judgment, and history still linger in the walls.
The size of the canvases forces the viewer to look at the details up close. Definitely visit it when out in soho next!

Today I went to Pilar Corrias for Alexis Ralaivao’s first UK solo exhibition by Alexis Ralaivao “Flirter avec l’abstrait”. The exhibition brings together paintings that push flirt but never fully whilst embracing abstraction. 💃 @pilarcorriasgallery
The eyes focus on the movement and shadows for fabrics, and colours draw you in. The size of the canvas also forced you to come closer for details and move back to take it all in. Once again I liked the bright colours of these pieces and the play on what I interpret as quickly shot “polaroids”.📹
