The existing home lacked flow and clarity, with disconnected spaces limiting how it could be lived in day to day. Check out the before photo.
Through a considered reconfiguration and extension, the layout has been opened up and refined — allowing natural light to move more freely and creating a stronger connection between living spaces.
Key interventions, such as the reworking of the stair, shift the experience of the home from purely functional to architectural.

This residence forms one of three penthouses created through the conversion of an existing residential home, redesigned to maximise light, volume and uninterrupted coastal views.
The transformation involved stripping back the original façade and introducing new balconies and grand openings to better capture the surrounding outlook.

From enclosed balcony to seamless living.
This Class 2 apartment renovation focused on unlocking space — not just refreshing finishes.
By extending the internal living area into the existing balcony, we redefined how the home functions. New structural steel beams were installed to transfer loads from above, allowing the opening to be safely increased and the footprint reimagined.
What was once a disconnected edge is now the heart of the apartment — full-height glazing, natural light and a stronger connection to the landscape.
Beyond the structure, the project involved a complete internal fitout, bringing together clean lines, warm flooring and refined detailing to elevate the everyday living experience.
