VISUAL TEAM ANNOUCEMENT
To bring a festival site to life, we need photons. Lots of photons.
So this year, we’ve assembled a top notch crew for lighting, lasers, and projection mapping!
Projections:
Returning from the previous iterations of Oasis and Rolling Hz, we have Vision Chips and Elfling (aka Hyperqualia Collective). Expect technicolor creatures emerging from endless oceans of cymatic texture, ephemeral worlds of infinite detail, and structure emerging from chaos.
We welcome Hawkeye, aka Ben Fulford Talbot, of Eventro (The Gathering, Splore, Electric Avenue, RnV, etc). Ben brings epic experience to the crew, both sonic and visual.
IZKORN aka Corban Coventry brings a unique psychedelic cyberpunk aesthetic. Through multiple appearances at Twisted Frequency, and many gigs in Wellington, he has developed a multi-vibe versatility, bending his work to riff with a wide range of styles.
Lasers:
Urban Myth Productions are well established in the scene, and have built a solid reputation up and down the country. Having recently smashed the second edition of their Wairarapa based UNITY, and recent performances at Arkadien, the lasers are primed!
Lighting
Special Ops (aka Matt Hat) and Enlightenment Lighting (Jok) are no strangers to the Cobb. We couldn’t imagine anybody more suited to the task of curating chromatic energies, and illuminating your journeys <3
We’re very excited to see this crew dial in their mappings, and cant wait to see how their universes mix!
