The slides are to honor some of my favorite projects in this journey:
1) ER. My first union role was a recurring Med Student named Ludlow. They Taft-hartleyed me because I spoke Tagalog, but never had to on the show.
2) Titanic 666. Had a great time screaming my head off on this project. Technically it’s not “TV” as it had a theatrical run in South America but it premiered as a Tubi Original and was translated into many languages.
3) BTS of Trauma. I played Kirsten, an office worker who got shot by a disgruntled employee and am tended to by Derek Luke and Taylor Kinney.
4) Perfect Harmony. I loved watching Tyberlee Hill and Will Greenberg improvise.
5) 911:Lone Star. Rescued by Brian Micheal Smith and Natasha Karam. Plus it’s a Ryan Murphy show so you know it’s inclusive AF.
6) Bob Hearts Abishola. My first live taping AND I got to shake Chuck Lorre’s hand!
7) Young Sheldon. Annie Potts is my hero. She’s just so wonderful and the crew/cast is like a family on this set. The vibes are good.
8&9) Dyke Central on Amazon. Playing Gin was an honor because it was the first genderqueer Filipina representation that I know of. I got mail internationally about the impact this series made on peoples’ lives, particularly in countries and states where they were afraid to be authentic themselves because of the backlash.

I’m in the Bay Area taking things up to my mom’s and visiting Den, and I got an extra coffee just to pour one out for him. Like we used to.
The special drink on the menu today? “Hola Habibi”… with his favorite flavors—cinnamon and cardamom ❤️🥹

Grief is strange. I’m still sad we weren’t part of the ash ceremony, and my kiddo is feeling it too… wishing we had a place, a marker, something to visit.
But I can hear him so clearly:
“Baybeh… isn’t this better than some musty grave? Look at the water. The beauty of the city. The bees and the hummingbirds…”
And he’d remind me—there are still so many moments of joy to live for.
