CRANE ZIPLINE PT 2🏗️ Came back a week later with a new (way faster) aluminum handle. Conditions were terrible this time. Super windy the first day we got there, came back the next day hoping it would get better but the was even worse and was raining too. Waited back there for a few hours until the rain finally started to die down. Sat on the edge ready to go holding the zip line for about 10 mins until I got the smallest window. Felt unreal🤘
Craziest zipline of all time. Release has to be timed perfectly or you will die. Have to make 40ft down the cable to clear the rock ledge, then let go right as you pass it. If you hold on too long there’s another huge cable going directly across the quarry that you will hit (hard to see) I also wasn’t able to properly test the handle we built before this.. Only at the bottom where the cable was basically flat so was barely moving. 3d printed the wheel, on the first test run the grooves on the cable started to shred the material apart. Duct taped a few layers over the wheel and sent it. Worked perfectly🤘 This was just the first test run.. came back with a reinforced/faster handle. Stay tuned for more😈
