when I was 9 years old, my dad took me and my sister to see Sugar Ray, my favorite band at the time. it was my first concert, and 14:59 was the first album I really fell in love with.
Mark McGrath spotted the signs my dad made and pulled us on stage to perform “Fly” with them. next thing I knew, I was in front of 10,000 people, dancing and playing air guitar. that moment changed everything and sparked my love for music (and being the center of attention).
