Ginny on Frederick is at Frieze London (Booth F2) with a solo presentation by Alex Margo Arden until Oct 19. - Alex Margo Arden uses theatrical methodologies to examine how histories are produced, interpreted, restored, and restaged. For Frieze, Arden brings together two new large-scale works: a meticulously remade Accident Reporting Board painting, reconstructed from an archival image of a Hollywood studio sign that tracked lost labour time due to on-set injuries, and a towering sculptural installation composed of decommissioned museum mannequins, once used to populate industrial scenes at the National Motor Museum. These full-scale male figures, designed to embody historical archetypes of work and mechanised progress, now appear reassembled—simultaneously surrogate and stand-in, caught between function and fiction. Together, the works interrogate the human cost of industry, the slippages in how bodies are represented and remembered, and the porous boundaries between roleplay, embodiment, and historical record. Ultimately Arden’s practice questions how we reckon with the residues of progress, and how proximity to performance complicates the line between re-presentation and reality. - Frieze London takes place in Regent’s Park, London from 15—19 October. Arash Nassiri’s exhibition ‘Night Mode’ opens at today at Fondation Pernod Ricard, Paris. On view until July 18th. Please join us from 6pm for the opening, all welcome! - ‘A Bug’s Life’ follows its protagonist – a hand-carved wooden puppet in the shape of an insect – who slinks through the palatial home, drawn to its glossy surfaces and gold-tinged décor. Creeping through hallways and lingering in shadowed rooms, the puppet intruder becomes our guide through a private world thick with memory, power, and selective erasure. Along the way, fragments of story surface through glimpses of glossy magazines, an eavesdropped phone call, and snippets of conversations that echo through corridors, drawing the audience into a voyeuristic encounter that reveals how architecture can entrench aspiration, exclusion, and cultural displacement. After its debut in London, the film is presented in Paris within Nassiri’s new exhibition, ‘Night Mode’. - Arash Nassiri, A Bug’s Life (still), 2026. Special thank you to Franck Balland and the Fondation Pernod Ricard team. Co-commissioned by Chisenhale Gallery, London, Fluentum, Berlin and Fondation Pernod Ricard, Paris. Produced by Chisenhale Gallery. Photography by Andy Keate.

Art forgeries, museum ghosts, celebrity relics, and the strange afterlives of objects, Alex Margo Arden treats history like a stage set: something constructed, rehearsed, performed, damaged, and endlessly rewritten. Arden is reshaping how we think about what survives, what circulates, and what gets rewritten. For @kingkongmagazine 21, in conversation with her gallerist, @freddiempowell , they discuss contentious objects, fake Vermeers, Marilyn Monroe’s dress, Kim Kardashian, Punch & Judy violence, Croydon, Champagne, and the idea that every archive is really a performance in disguise. Jointly shot by @nan__moore + @duncan_loudon . @olddrag @ginnyonfrederick
