When we think about a stunning new BMW, we often lean toward their state-of-the-art M division stabled offerings. As the world is headed towards sustainability and greener practices all around, this German manufacturer needed a new center state car, a flagship that stands out, a flagship that turns heads, a flagship from the ground up - a flagship like the BMW iX. Beauty is in the details with the iX: - Self-healing BMW kidney grille - Shy tech: filler neck for windscreen washer fluid underneath the BMW logo! - Flush door handles - Beautiful olive tanned leather doors with the most delicate quality details - Driver focused 14.9-inch infotainment screen coupled with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel - Front and center is an all-new steering wheel, one that’s clearly different from any BMW that’s come before it. Not only is it not perfectly round, but it’s actually hexagonal to add a subtle character to your drive This flagship has sustainability built into its DNA : - Upper material for floor mats and floor covering: 100% recycled material. - The Dashboard sports Olive Tanned Leather - Doors: substructure 100% recycled material, visible sections: 30% recycled material. - The seats, doors, and center console all sports PES recycled material A special shout-out to @dsscideaslab for making these cool experientials happen. #TheBMWiX #JoyBornAgain #BornElectric #BEV #batteryelectricvehicle #electriclove #thefutureiselectric #thefutureiselectric⚡ #ginmit #ginmittech #futuretech #lookatmenow #carsoninstagram #worldevday

The Varanasi Baloon Festival: Come Fly Away Into The Sunrise ♥️— A trip so random, and yet so nurturing. @molly_singh is the boss behind getting us all over to experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly over a place as intricate as Benaras. The place really was something to see to believe, and seeing it over 150-200 feet in the sky, balancing your iPhone to shoot this was a memory to keep. @flywithkarim is the man behind flying the biggest Baloon of the lot, and I got the opportunity to be along side with him. He (Karim) is the first Indian in India who has flown two Gaint balloons, which can accommodate 16 and 24 passengers respectively. @intelliquo with @sonalisokhal always hosts such rare ops like these ❤️ While the place had its quirks and hangups, it got very wholesome meeting new people like @saumyaavohra @shuchirsuri @simrrangill @shreya__soni and @nelly_wadia and her cool games husband @u_rish 🤓. -- Last but not least, the tech behind this whole trip: @apple #shotoniphone was unlike any other. 4K 60, Apple ProRes video and stabilizing with the @djiglobal #om5 . . . #varanasiballoonfestival #flyatvaranasi #hotairballoon #balloonfestival #efactorevents #efactortourism #efactorexperiences #UPnahidekhatohkyadekha #uptourism #skywaltzballoonsafari #hotairballooningindia #festival #festivalvibes #devdeepawali2021 #incredibleindia #ginmit #ginmittech #comeflywithme

I was one of the first people in India to cover @nothing . Back in 2022, covering their StockX drop for Grazia, before the brand had so much as a press contact in the country. Two September issue print placements since then, all organic. If you know fashion publishing, you know that’s the most prized real estate there is. Caught up with Akis to see the Phone (4a) and the upcoming Phone (4a) Pro. Here’s what I’ll say: I’m deeply, maybe irrationally, loyal to iPhone. The kind of person who has two iPhones for work always with me, buying then since the 3GS launched on Airtel. But Nothing is the only Android company that’s ever made me feel like switching wouldn’t be a downgrade in taste. That matters more than people in tech are willing to admit. Most Android flagships look like they were designed under fluorescent lighting by someone who’s never bought a magazine (no really). Nothing phones look like they wandered out of a Jil Sander campaign and forgot to go back. The Phone (4a) in pink is the one I kept turning over in my hand. The transparent back has stopped being a gimmick at this point. It’s a design signature. You can trace how the camera module, the battery, the new Glyph Bar all sit in relation to each other. Honesty in construction that fashion people instinctively respond to. It’s the same reason Virgil put construction diagrams on Off-White tags. Letting someone see how the thing was made has always been the point. The (4a) Pro with that round dot-matrix Glyph display might be my favourite though. Pixel art hearts, expressive little animations, a red recording light pulled straight from analog film cameras. The kind of detail that makes you realize most consumer electronics have absolutely no soul. Nothing shoots lookbooks: their campaign casting would hold up in any fashion publication I’ve written for. A company that understands the phone in your hand says as much about you as the jacket on your back. The only Android brand I’d ever let share pocket space with my iPhone…And even that’s saying a lot. More thoughts incoming @nothing @nothingindia @noiceciliaoldne @akis_evangelidis

Happy birthday, PC ( @chaudharypooja )🤍; this one deserves a post! Some friendships are loud. Ours lives in the in-betweens. In half sentences across a table. In jokes that never make sense to anyone else. In industry gossip whispered between bites. In too many food photos, medical check-ins that turn into laughs, and secrets that feel safer just by being shared. This is the version of you I’m grateful for. The unfiltered smiles. The quiet courage. The comfort of knowing that even when the day runs out, the conversations never really do. It’s late, the candles are probably long blown out, and the day has gently folded itself away. But some people deserve to be wished into tomorrow too. Here’s to more tables, more banter, more surprises waiting their turn. Happy birthday, my PC. End of day. Beginning of so much more. #ShotOniPhone

I commend Sushmita Sarmah (@bodowiser ) for her remarkable attention to detail, a quality that captures individuals and objects alike in ways few can match. Her rare talent lies in sensing an artist’s passion on the ground and transforming that energy into a thoughtfully curated environment. At Mukesh Mills, The Gathering ( @thegatheringindia ) Edition 02 offered a refuge for those who value substance over spectacle. In my opinion helps this all contributed to redefine the idea of home as an evolving feeling. Our meal starts with this big-boss(s) Priyam Chatterjee (@priyamchatterjeeofficial ) and Rishabh Seal (@rishabh.seal ) showcased culinary mastery that celebrates the ritual of craft over fleeting trends (Going to shorten the dish write ups as IG doesn’t permit a thesis hah) - Starting off with Soil Rouge functions as a primordial opening that explores the textures plus the time of yoghurt. - The Basquiat meets McQueen Tartare (quite a mouthful to read) presents a sophisticated collision between neo-expressionist energy plus the restraint of haute couture. - Landscapes From A Train Journey offers an olfactory map of Delhi6 through the medium of a Masala Pâté. We practically licked the liver pâté off the plate with the pav bread plus that onion butter. (Yep, eating bread just brought tears of joy 😂) - Plastic plus Elastic Ocean Traffic reimagines the Bengal malai curry as a study in maritime fluidity. It was such a messy work of art; we kept turning the plate round and round while eating it. - The Black Orchard Winter French Toast concludes the experience serving as the final object in a curated gallery of flavors that redefine what it means to be held. In a world of digital performance, this felt like a genuine return to substance. The attention to detail shown by Priyam plus Rishabh stems from a love for the process rather than a search for validation. They were not chasing social media metrics like many; they were simply feeding the soul of their food. 🧿🥰🫶🏽

I took this years ago on a Sunday morning barrage walk, half asleep, shot on a phone that didn’t promise perfection. The frame isn’t unique. We’ve seen it before in paintings, calendars, stock images growing up. And yet, every time I look at it, I get lost. Maybe that’s the point. Not everything has to be new to feel profound. Also, this is me quietly coming back after a long posting hiatus. No grand announcement. Just a reminder to myself to be here a little more often. Maybe. #ShotOniPhone

What do you do when a Michelin-starred Italian chef starts talking butter, blunders, and his 94-year-old olive-oil-making nana? You hit record and try not to laugh through half the interview. Chef Mirko Febbrile came, cooked, and casually dropped lines like “If I don’t like the date, I serve premade sauce.” Catch me trying to keep up while he drops pasta wisdom like it’s prosecco. This one’s for the food nerds and chaos lovers alike. (COMING SOON) @iammirkofebbrile @somma.world Special thanks to @anannya_13 for seeing through all the madness and opening up these ops. @allthingsniceindia for bringing down chef and help make all of this happen! Everything always #ShotoniPhone

Back on (well erm, posting on the the ‘gram) after ages, and this time —front row (or as my one of my besties likes to tell me to say ‘FROW’) at the Lakmé Fashion Week for the Nothing x Amit Aggarwal show! It’s been a minute since I shared anything here, but witnessing (my first live show of) Amit Aggarwal’s futuristic-yet-functional collection has me all kinds of inspired. As someone who lives at the intersection of tech and creativity, I loved seeing how heritage and innovation intertwined on the runway—think structured silhouettes with fluid drapes, cropped jackets, asymmetric hems, and layering pieces that adapt to anyone’s personal style. In other words, they’re basically the “smart tech” of fashion: versatile, sleek, and ultra-modern (and I’m not new to watching runway shows online at least). Swipe through this carousel as that’s having a moment right now on IG. Huge thanks to @nothingindia @nothing (you know, the design-forward phone company) for this one-of-a-kind experience. (And as a Reddit comment says) - Sometimes, stepping into the future just requires taking a (front row) seat. If you’ve missed my updates on design, innovation, and tech in the lifestyle space—well, I’m back, and I’m bringing more creative collisions your way. Stay tuned! #LakmeFashionWeek #FDCI #Nothing #AmitAggarwal #FashionTech #FROW #AI #StyleRevolution #InnovationMeetsDesign
