So here is the story behind the outfit change : in keeping with the disco theme, mama found dress 1 that matched the disco vibe, glittery ball effect and all!
As beautiful as that dress was, sensory wise it just wasn’t ideal even if Eden loved the look of it. So we made a deal: my genius cousin would come to the rescue!!
And you know what my incredible cousin @ginghamdoll did?!!
She made a thick slip that went under the first dress to make the sequins less uncomfortable AND offered to make her a 2nd dress (!!!!), that was better catered to her sensory sensitivities eg flat seams throughout, no labels, smooth/soft and cooling fabrics, ditched the tulle underskirt idea and replaced it with a softer organza trim with multiple dress fittings to ensure Eden was comfortable ….et voila!!
