It’s pirate day at the Ren Faire, aka the one time a year when my true form is visible! Just don’t ask my true form about the pirate trivia event, because he’s got THOUGHTS.
(Also thank you Tori and Maya for foiling me in another attempt to ditch my phone forever! I almost got away with it this time!)

For a year filled with so much fear and tumult…somehow, I think 2025 may be my favorite year I’ve ever had, so much so that I had a hell of a lot of trouble narrowing down my favorite memories to just 20. Or maybe it’s because of the fear and tumult that I can feel my gratefulness so keenly. I am awash in love, with my favorite person by my side, in a city and a body that feel like home, and I mean to fight for them. Happy new year, y’all. Whatever kind of year you’ve had, may your 2026 be better than the last.

Somehow I manage to forget my top surgery anniversary (Oct 15) EVERY SINGLE YEAR, so here we are, a month late, to celebrate tummy hair, tattoos, and five years without the weight of them. It’s almost a rite of passage to take a million shirtless pics early on…but truthfully, I don’t think about my chest much these days. Shirts are just shirts now and mirrors are just mirrors, and when I catch sight of myself, it’s just me, of course it is. What a privilege to be able to shape my own self!
