Meet the man behind the beard ⤵
GingerBeard’s Preserves was founded by Harry back in 2014. It all started in a small basement flat in Montpelier, Bristol in our home kitchen (some of our old neighbours remember cook days well!).
Harry grew up in the Highlands of Scotland, and started GingerBeard’s Preserves a few years after moving down to Bristol.
What started as small production of maybe a few 1,000 jars a year, has now transformed into 200,000 units made every year in our production kitchen. But some things haven’t changed, everything is made by hand using natural ingredients and great enthusiasm for good food.
Fun fact: it took us a surprising amount of time to come up with the name! Pretty sure it was decided upon over the pint at the Canteen one summer evening. 🤔
