It’s no exaggeration to say that @kelliohara is a musical theater superstar/icon/queen. A Tony Award winner (for The King and I in 2015), she just received her 9th consecutive Tony nomination for her performance in the @roundaboutnyc uproarious Broadway revival of Noël Coward’s wickedly funny 1925 comedy FALLEN ANGELS—and this time she’s showing off her comedy skills instead of her showstopping soprano pipes. Kelli stars alongside @fullyrosebyrne (also Tony-nominated) for 90 minutes of pratfalls, dry wit, drier martinis and non-stop laughs. Fallen Angels runs through June 7, 2026. Onscreen, Kelli can be seen in the hit TV series @gildedagehbo .
We met up with Kelli for a Bare shoot at the Todd Haimes Theatre a few hours before an evening performance. She was right in her element inside this Broadway theatre, having fun working some modern-day glam behind the scenes. Writer @ginaway1 asked Kelli about her ‘80s-era celebrity crush, the beauty product she can’t live without, and her Bare Essentials.

Aya Cash, @maybeayacash star of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys and the FX/FXX series You’re the Worst, is making her Broadway debut in the Olivier award winning play "Giant." @gianttheplay It’s set in 1983, just after acclaimed children’s author Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda)—played by Olivier-winning John Lithgow—has published his antisemitic views in a bigoted book review. Aya plays Jessie Stone, sent from Dahl’s American publisher to get him to make a public apology. Let’s just say, verbal fireworks ensue. We caught up with Aya for a fun NY photo shoot and writer @ginaway1 chatted with her about vintage shopping, what she loves about NYC, going toe to toe with Lithgow on stage, and her five Bare Essentials.

Jane and I didn’t initially bond over beauty, although that was always part of the conversation. We bonded over Broadway and Sondheim, and back-and-forthed over theatre, tv & movies constantly. Jane loved show tunes (and could sing ‘em too). I considered Jane to be the coolest girl in school (she’d roll her eyes at that). She was wickedly funny, effortlessly cool, & an air of confidence seemed to waft around her. I loved being with her, and laughing with her - just being around the lady made you feel damn great. Oh, she also loved Nick Cave, and today I listened to his song “Breathless” and thought of my friend Jane. (“The sky of daytime dies away, and all the earthly things they stop to play, For we are all breathless without you.”) I love you Jane.❤️
