I’ve been making jewelry out of vintage scrap material as a form of creative crop rotation when the energy in the studio feels low or stuck. Over time I have amassed quite a collection of these shiny wearable objects that I’m finally going to bring into the light of day. Please join me this Sunday from 2-7 at Septentrio in Arcata ✨
Join me this summer for The Wild Mirror, a two-day and three-night painting retreat hosted by SF City Extension and taught by me at Cal Poly Humboldt. In this retreat, we will work on painting a self-portrait in acrylic inspired by immersion in the Redwood wilderness of California’s North Coast. The Wild Mirror retreat will include a combination of meditative field work in the forest and studio time in the painting lab at Cal Poly Humboldt. For more info, please check out the link in my bio.

I’m raffling off this painting to generate some funds for my friend and fellow painter, Peggy Rivers. Peggy’s Arcata art studio burned down, taking a whole life’s worth of work and materials away with it.
Raffle entries are $20 each or 3 for $50. To enter, please Venmo me @ginatuzzi (please see QR code in post). If Venmo doesn’t work for you, message me. All proceeds will go to Peggy 🩷 I will pick a winner on Sunday, Jan 18th and then ship this painting anywhere in the US 💌
Please spread the word and help me raise some money for this beloved painter!

Winter is here with its cold darkness and a delicious invitation to slow down. Rest deeply, feast indulgently, stillness has been earned. Good news, world.
I’m honored to be a part of this one night benefit taking place at @discodelic_discos_viajantes this Friday night from 5-8pm. All artwork is priced very affordably with proceeds going to @larazacrc ♥️
Many thanks to @david.benzler for organizing this benefit and to @pacificsawworks for getting me involved.
My painting is of the album cover for Linda Ronstadt’s Canciones De Mi Padre. I was 5 when this record made its way into my life and I’ve loved it very deeply ever since.
🌜The 2026 Lunar Calendars are here!🌛
This year’s print was inspired by my rekindled love for Bjork’s 1993 album, Debut. The resonance of this record’s lyrics and rhythms still make me want to get up and dance even when the ether of the world around me feels heavy, bleak and impossible. My deepest hope for the year of the Fire Horse is that we make empathy, and generous love a supreme priority so that our communities can feel safe, cared for and full of joy.
This year’s print is from a limited edition of 75 and costs $55 ($65 shipped). If you would like to purchase one, please Venmo me @ginatuzzi (include your shipping address if you are outside of Humboldt County). Local residents can pick up their calendars at the Art Center in Arcata. If Venmo doesn’t work, let me know and we’ll find a solution.
Thank you endlessly for your support. I’m very grateful for all of you 🩷
