🥐💄 MERIT Beauty (@merit ) has been another great client in 2025. Last April, I had the pleasure of working with them at the charming Hôtel Balzac in Paris. During an event hosting top-tier French journalists and influencers, my role was to engrave all guests’ initials on MERIT Compact Mirrors. I hand-engraved over 100 metal mirrors. 🤰🏻Little did I know this would be the last physical project I’d do with my (tiny) pregnant belly! This project was for a real estate agency in Paris’s 8th arrondissement. The owner, Valérie, has a deep appreciation for the handmade touch and asked me to hand-paint her shop window and the entrance door, including the number 5 on her door! 🖌️🎨 The hardest part was definitely painting the small text on the main door, which took many hours and a ton of patience, requiring at least two coats of paint. The work on the storefront was comparatively easier, as I had to follow her brand guidelines; the existing logo and symbol had much simpler shapes. Unique bespoke Calligraphy and Hand Lettering created for two @marie.lichtenberg events. This time, I created the Lettering titles inspired by the handwriting and letter drawings of the French painter Bernard Buffet. To reinforce Marie Lichtenberg’s brand identity color palette, when possible, I worked with olive green ink instead of black ink.

🎂 One year ago I was invited together with some other artists to the @agence4uatre 20th anniversary party. In our specific atelier, we spent all the evening doing live Hand Lettering and Calligraphy to give a custom souvenir to all guests. ❌ There was only one single requirement: letters were not allowed ❌ So we were just able to write and draw on demand guests favourite numbers 🖌️🔢 One of the most asked style was the one which combined my rough and gestural Calligraphy with watercolor finishing touches 🎨 Which would had been your personal number request? It is hard to express how grateful I’m still feeling about the experience of teaching in Berlin one year ago. Together with the Master’s in Type Design at @ecv_bordeaux , we organized a one-week workshop of custom Calligraphy & Lettering for Branding projects at @design.hmkw.bln in Berlin with other master students. I ideated and managed this intensive Hand Lettering course where English was the common language between German and French speakers. We began with brush Calligraphy and we achieved delicious digital logos all designed from the scratch using pencil and paper. I will never stop thanking both Bordeaux team and Berlin one for the incredible time we passed. Isa: “I didn’t know you draw portraits” Me: “Me neither” Bespoke place cards with loosen and expressive Calligraphy & Illustration for exceptional events. Inspired by Matisse portraits and masks, I drew one by one all guests’ pictures using a traditional brush on cotton rough paper. Every portrait was accompanied by its corresponding name, handwritten with the same pointed brush and sumi ink. Custom Lettering for @paravel , who asked me to paint their canvas bags live in store for the event at their holiday pop up at @lebonmarcherivegauche .
