Love letter to this summer:
I did something different this summer. I took a trip to the north shore of Oahu by myself for some much needed clarity and peace of mind. I quickly came to the realization that the islands are indeed full of magic. The sense of unity and family is overwhelming. The people I met, and friends I made, instantly made me feel welcome. I had been to Hawaii before but something about this trip changed my life. I spent hours listening to the waves crash on deserted beaches. I watched a sunset that brought me to tears. I took long drives with the roof off and waited for the tropical rain to hit my face and smile. I ate food that I still dream about and I sat with my thoughts for days on end, forced to learn to love my own company. I succeeded and I have the island to thank for that. Oahu, you are forever a huge part of me and my journey on this earth 🙏🏻
