It was such an honor to show at @therosarium_shop with so many great artists. The Tower & The Chariot: An Exhibition of Ruin & Resolve, as well as the wonderful group show at @decay_olympia , were the first shows I’ve been a part of since early ‘22. A very big thank you to Catamara at The Rosarium, Moon & Liam at Decay, and everyone who came to visit these exhibits. The invitation to share work at Spring Arts Walk this year has relit my fire in ways that I can’t quite put into words 🖤
30 sealed envelopes, each holding a unique Moon card. Which one will call to you? 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑
These pieces are currently available at @therosarium_shop for the Olympia Spring Arts Walk. Every work in this group show is truly special, as are the artists behind them. Come by and see the show!
Arts walk draws ever closer and we are excited to share with you a sneak peek of the group exhibition we have been planning!
The Tower & The Chariot tells the story of necessary destruction and the conscious direction of losing everything that confines you and discovering the strength to rebuild on your own terms.
Featuring 7 local artists, join us for Olympia Arts Walk on Friday, April 24 5-10pm & Saturday, April 25 12-6pm at The Rosarium.

this piece leans into texture, repetition, slow breakdowns, dull tones, recycled voices, environments that feel a little off but still alive
somewhere between organic and digital, soft and unsettling
🗓 friday 4/24 | 5pm–12am

spring arts walk takes over downtown olympia and turns it into a moving, breathing gallery
every space is different
a lot to wander through
a lot to stumble into

I'm honored to have been asked to join some fantastic artists here in Olympia for a group show at @therosarium_shop / @rosariumblends . I absolutely adore this business and the wonderful people who own and operate it!
The prompt (and title) given for the show, "The Tower & The Chariot: An Exhibition of Ruin and Resolve", made me want explore these archetypes of the Tarot more than I have before...these two cards put together can represent the space between collapse and command. These "Tower" and "Chariot" moments—the sudden shatters followed by the deliberate movements forward—have defined our personal and collective histories. For me, the Moon is the perfect sovereign symbol for these shifts; its phases and eclipses act as celestial markers for the disasters, choices, and epiphanies that reshape us, one cycle at a time. The Moon is the planetary body most associated with the Chariot, and in my work for this show, Lunar Call, I argue that the Tower can also be associated with the Moon (although it is traditionally associated with Mars?).
This 50-piece offering makes use of ink, oil, burnt collage material, and gold leaf to bridge the gap between the celestial and the terrestrial, capturing the "instant" snapshots of transformation.
