Me loving the Bears like family… I would never tell my sister to make a move that isn’t in her best interest.
Right now, Illinois and Chicago haven’t been making deals that feel fair to both businesses and residents — and we’re watching the results in real time: a steady exodus. The Bears are the most polarizing example, but they’re not the only one.
What we need is balance — real negotiations, real accountability, and real benefits for the people. Not strong-arming residents. Not politics-first deals.
And trust me, I hate the idea of the Bears leaving. But I also want what’s best for Chicago citizens and the organization long-term.
I’ve personally seen the impact the Bears have had in Auburn Gresham — resources, support, real presence. So imagine what they could do with a dedicated, transparent plan to invest in the city without corruption and without extra hands in their pockets.
