i can’t believe it took me this long to start offering press-on nails in the Grotto 😅
from the beginning of the grotto’s inception, i’ve always loved making myself a set for product photography sessions, to compliment the theme for whatever collection i happened to be working on. it was a way for me to flex the creative muscles i had to put on the back burner, while also doing something creative that was JUST for me
i don’t know what clicked, but a couple months ago (after some heavy peer pressure 😆), i said 🦆 it and decided to drop a few sets with my atlantis collection
Since then, i’ve been playing in my nail stuff almost every night after a day in the studio 🥰

a few favorites from HELLFIRE & BRIMSTONE and a loooonnnng ass read (aka insight into my creative/design process) 👹👇🏽
People always ask me what inspires me, and I feel like I always let them down when i say “everything”
I don’t necessarily plan out my collections or pieces, I just pick a theme, decide on a color palette, gather the stones and let my unrelenting brain do its thing.
Here are 20 of my favorite pieces from this collection, along with their name meaning and a little backstory on their creation.
1. IFRIT - Mexican Flame Agate || islamic demon ||
this one almost didnt make it to the collection because I am very deeply in love with her 🥲 i cut and polished this stone myself + designed the shape in illustrator after cropping the bottom of an image of Aku from samurai jack, then playing around in Zbrush until I was satisfied. This, the Asmodeus piece, and Manon are all sisters from the same image
2. DIABLO - Dinosaur Bone x Irradiated Quartz x Yooperlite on the reverse side || named after the game series || the dinosaur bone and chain components were actually a ring that I made for 2021s prehistoric themed Cretaceous collection, but I didnt like how it looked. Fast forward to 2025, I took it apart and added it to this irradiated quartz point. i still felt like something was missing so I added a yooperlite stone to the other side to make it reversible (its also UV reactive under blue light.
3. FLAMBO - Brecciated Jasper in bronze || named after flambo from adventure time || i RARELY (almost never) sketch out pieces beforehand, but this was the very first piece I sketched out for this collection in August
4. HELLSPAWN - Cantera Opal || this was supposed be a completely different design but the other cabochon I ordered still hasnt arrived and I had to improvise 😅 this turned out way better than the original idea
5. LILITH - the first woman to tell a man “i think tf not” || another happy accident, this was a ZANDILE model that had a strange error during the 3D printing process, and came out with this big gash on her face. I actually liked it and it reminded me of the lich from adventure time so I put a horn on her

HELLFIRE & BRIMSTONE 🌋 - the art vs the inspiration, a backstory and a call to action 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
While most of my collections are inspired by things that make my inner child feel all warm and fuzzy inside,
this one was 100% fueled by rage and spite - thanks to my own experience with religious trauma (🤭) , and witnessing the current ridiculousness of organized religion.
this collection also served as a big hug and release for my angry inner teenager who made it out without losing her mind 🙂↕️
I don’t believe there is a hell, and if there is, its right here on earth, having to exist alongside those who condemn others for the silliest, most trivial things, while cheering on the most despicable, heinous acts against humanity
Anyways, I made 122 new one of a kind pieces inspired by the cuntiest fictional demons / devils / entities of them all, because if we’re supposed to be so scared of demons, why did they give them so much aura?!? I guess thats the agenda huh? 😆👹🙄
And, since we’re on the topic of hell on earth, A good portion of the proceeds from this collection and all future collections going forward, will be going towards trying to make this world a little less hellish for the most vulnerable among us.
Through the end of the year at least, a portion of all your orders will go toward grocery store gift cards and home garden supplies to aid those in need of immediate food assistance 🫶🏽❤️🔥

I blinked and we’re now 10 days away from Halloween and I have not come up out of the studio for air in almost two months 😆😭😵💫
Spent the past two days working on a bts reel, but i just accidentally deleted it and theres no way of recovering it, so instead, here is a haphazard collection of some progress footage I managed to record 🥰
Haven’t settled on a name or a release date yet because i’m not quite finished with everything, but I promise it’ll be out this week (?) 😅🫣
