15 years ago i was homeless in Scotland. I was sleeping on couches trying to do late night spots so maybe one day I could have my own show at the biggest arts festival in the world.
The Gilded Balloon always called out to me like some mythical castle that I would have to hero’s journey my way to. I used to walk by it every day and visualize playing there (and buying chips out front with the change I bummed cause it was the only food I could afford).
Now, maybe too long later, I’m taking the scariest show that I am the most proud of there. My dream venue in my dream city with the help of one of my heroes.
The show is about ALL THE THINGS I can’t post or the post will get taken down lol. But I’m told you will laugh and cry. I also hope it brings people together and makes them feel less alone (again, I swear it’s also a comedy). See ya out there 🫡
