4’33’’ Zang Pat Phwut is a book which is a kind of virtual (over)interpretation of John Cage’s 4’33’’. The authors have created a sort of an atlas illustrating the concept of silence in positive categories—as a state of inalienability of sound. The structure of the publication imitates the structure of Cage’s composition, divided into three parts, with one second of the composition corresponding with one page of a comic-strip frame containing a speech balloon with an onomatopoeic word. The appended index of all the onomatopoeic words, explaining their exact pronunciation, is a humorous reference to didactic publications. This complexity of elaboration may also indicate another way of treating Zang Pat Phwut—as an autonomous, overlapping score of 4’33’’. (Paweł Szroniak)

Wir möchten Euch heute nochmal ein ganz besonderes Konzert ans Herz legen. Am Montag, 16. März heiszen wir BREMER McCOY willkommen. Ein Jazzduo aus Kopenhagen, Dub inspirierter Ambient Jazz, gespielt mit Klavier, Echoband, weiteren Tasten und einem Kontrabass, ohne Drums und ihrem eigenen Soundsystem. Das Konzert ist bestuhlt (mit Lehne) also könnt Ihr euch zurücklehnen. TALI startet um 18:00 mit einer feiner Selection an Platten, 19:30 Konzert, wir bitten Euch nicht nicht zu spät zu kommen. Es gibt wie gewohnt Focaccia und Drinks. Während dem Konzert bleibt die Kaffeemaschine allerdings aus, um Euch ein einmaliges Klangerlebnis zuzusichern. Tickets gibt es bei Tix for gigs. Highly recommended!
