Colocación de trabajadores, losetas y puzzle con cumplimento de patrones son las mecánicas que hacen de #Looot un juego de saqueo elegante y táctico.
Cada turno, jugamos en dos tableros:
1️⃣ En el central, común a todos los jugadores, de donde tomas el recurso (🐑🌳🪨🪓) al ubicar tu meeple vikingo en un lugar vacío, siempre junto a un meeple ya colocado (tuyo o de otro) o al lado de un drakkar. Además capturas edificios según la posición de tus meeples respecto a ellos: junto a una casa, conectando dos torres o tocando un castillo con 4 meeples encadenados entre sí.
2️⃣ En el personal, el fiordo que construyes loseta a loseta con lo saqueado en el tablero común y donde cumples los patrones para puntuar.
Inicialmente tienes 3 objetivos en una posición fija de tu tablero individual. Pero tras cada turno puedes incorporar un objetivo de drakkar que da puntos extra si lo cumples durante la partida pero que penaliza si no lo completas.
También dispones de 3 escudos para "arrasar" las normas: jugar dos vikingos consecutivos; poner un meeple donde ya hay otro o duplicar el recurso de esa loseta.
Las hachas permiten reclamar un trofeo una vez por partida según las conseguidas hasta el momento. Pero si alguien ya reclamó esa cantidad de hachas, deja de estar disponible y debes solicitar un valor menor.
Cuando todos colocan sus 13 meeples se acaba la partida y quién tiene más puntos se proclama jarl de los vikingos.

🟢 Sencillo de entender, rápido de jugar y no tan fácil de optimizar. Lo convierte en adictivo.
🟢 Doble capa de planificación en ambos tableros. Sensación de carrera en hachas y edificios.

Em Difference Astérix, cada jogador tem um baralho de cartas que mostram (quase) a mesma cena. Mas existe sempre dois detalhes diferentes.
Em cada jogo, tens de ser o mais rápido a encontrar as diferenças entre a tua carta e carta que está no centro da mesa.
Quanto mais rápido fores, mais rápido te livrarás das tuas cartas e mais perto estarás da vitória!

Canal Houses from @gigamicworld has been a smashing hit at my recent game days. So happy this game just got a US release so others will be able to add it to the collection. I love drafting cards and creating a great tableau of houses to score. Easy and quick makes for a perfect opener of the game night.

Our #bankholidday of games continued with a first play of the rather excellent trick taker ‘Papayoo’ which is a trick taking game that managed to straddle the line of being a solid entry level trick taker for younger games or gamers who are new to the genre whilst also providing more than enough punch for experience card players.
The premise of the game is that you do not want to win tricks. Every Payo card you win turns into negative points based on its numerical venue at the end of the round. Of course it’s hard to go a full game without winning any tricks so choosing your win wisely and managing your hand is vital!
All the standard trick taking, must follow rules apply. Each of the four core suits is numbered 1-10 with the Payoo cards numbered 1-20. At the start of the game you’ll roll a dice to determine which of the “7” cards is going to be worth -40 points that round!
The game is suggested to be played over five rounds but works well however you decide to play it. It’s fast, snappy, the art work will appeal to younger games and as mentioned it serves perfectly as an intro to the genre and it’s definitely making its way into my trick taking bag for filler time at game nights!
