Whelp, I guess I posted a progress photo in the last post, so here’s a follow up with the piece finished and installed that also has the correct tacks… believe it or not I went through at least 5 different options. And thanks to @navygazing and @andherpitchfork for including me in the group sho , Afters in LA that they co-curated this past Spring.
I didn’t mean to yell in my last post, I think I copied and pasted something and somehow it all ended up capitalized. At any rate, I’m traveling and found myself with a few minutes to post some more artwork. These are both from last year, but like a lot of my work these days, the pieces and ideas for them had been kicking around in my head and in the studio for years.

This girl turned 5 a couple of days ago. She’s had a tough year settling in to being a big sister, but she’s grown so much and is doing great at it— and she’s still a great little sister too.
