A new GIVE ME AWAY Spotlight episode is live! This one’s called “The Chain Of Command,” and it takes us away from the regular series leads for an inside look at two of their most powerful enemies.
Lieutenant Riley (Ato Essandoh) used to run The Nevada Project. Colonel Semler (Jason Howard) currently does. The latter urgently needs some advice from the former. Because the thing is, the current President doesn’t stop being President right after losing the election. There’s those weird two transitional months where a lot of things can happen. And the current President just gave Semler an order he desperate doesn’t want to obey. So he gives the guy who used to have his job a call - but it doesn’t go the way he expects.

It's the day before Halloween, which means it's New Episode Of GIVE ME AWAY Day, widely celebrated throughout the known world!
Season 3 Episode 7 is called "You Have Four Months." Partly because, as there's a couple-month time jump between every episode this season, we wanted to help listeners track how close we are to the fateful Inauguration Day of the season finale. But it also refers to the threat that the apocalyptic cult The Sojourn keeps making to our heroes, one with a very clear implication: you have this long to live.
With this episode we also wanted to pay tribute to the fast food employee strikes of recent years - and by implication the similar labor actions within the artistic community. The extraterrestrials of GIVE ME AWAY were all seasoned protestors on their home planet, so of course they aren't going to pass up a chance to join a street action on Earth.
But all of the above aside... you really have to hear what happens at the end of this episode.
