Two medals for Switzerland at the Formula Kite World Championships in Portugal! 🔥
Silver for Gian Stragiotti in his first senior World Championship podium and bronze for Elena Lengwiler after an impressive final day winning the quarter and semi finals.
Historical result for Switzerland. Congratulations to both athletes and to Gian’s sparring partner and world champion @maximilianmaeder
4th place at the Sailing Grand Slam Hyères 🇫🇷
Finished 4th out of 44 Formula Kite riders.
A really valuable week with all kinds of conditions — from light to strong winds — pushing every part of the game.
Day by day I was able to build more rhythm and consistency, improving across different areas and getting back into the flow of racing.
With three weeks to go until the peak event of the year — the Formula Kite World Championships, the focus now is clear: fine-tuning the details and getting everything ready.
Excited for what’s coming next in Viana do Castelo 🇵🇹
Let’s keep pushing. ⚡️

Wrapping up the first @sailinggrandslam of the season in 5th place out of 56 sailors from around the world 🌍⛵️
It was a tough week on the water with very mixed conditions. I struggled a bit at the beginning to find my rhythm and grip, but managed to build it back step by step and get into the racing again.
After a long winter of training, it was great to finally be back on the race course with the full fleet. That’s what it’s all about 💪
Taking a lot of positives from this week and already looking forward to the next events.
Next up: the second Sailing Grand Slam in the south of France 🇫🇷
Big congrats to my training partner @maximilianmaeder for taking the win 🏆 and to my teammate @karl_just_karl for an outstanding event 👏
Let’s keep pushing.

2nd place at the Test Event – World Sailing Worlds Fortaleza 2027, where the first Olympic qualification spots will be decided in one year 🌍
What a solid training block — wind every single day and so many good takeaways.
Super stoked to finish on the podium, right behind my teammate @maximilianmaeder 🙌
In one year, this event will be the Olympic qualifying event, which makes this result even more motivating and gives a lot of confidence going forward.
We keep pushing and building.
Next stop: training block in the Canary Islands ☀️
