Gianna Vadino holds 11 Muay Thai titles, with 9 of her wins coming by technical knockout. She is technical and dynamic, utilizing heavy punches, solid knees and hard elbows in the clinch.
After learning that Roman soldiers had etchings of Medusa on their armor for protection, Gianna added a Medusa tattoo to her forearm with an artist in Italy. Collaborating with her husband Dan, her main tattoo artist, she added a snake to her existing Medusa theme, symbolizing power and strength - an apt reflection of her own fighting spirit.

My 2024 in Muay Thai
This year, I had so many incredible experiences and met and trained alongside people that have left a lasting impression on me. Every year, this sport teaches me so much and always makes me a little bit better of a fighter and person. I had the privilege of fighting 8 times, in 3 different countries, and added a few more belts to the wall. Whenever I sit here and self reflect, I’m always shocked when I think about how i just started doing kickboxing bc i wanted abs…. lol i guess I got them…… but so much more baggage came with the abs 😅 anyway.. stoked for 2025 and to keep this journey going 😈

I'll be honest. Trying to photograph clinch heavy fights can be tough. Most fans tend to like watching strikes over clinch. And this shows in the photos, too. But a good clinch battle? I get into it. This one between Gianna Vadino and Jordan Smelker at Freedom Fighter 35 has to be one of those that was majority a clinching battle. I've been ringside for several of Vadino's fights and this was far and away the toughest I've seen anyone fight her. The clinch was the reason. Relentless is an understatement. The clinch can wear down even the best fighters. It's a war of attrition. It's soul sucking. This bout would end on a sweep but it didn't take away from the fact that this was one of the best clinch heavy fights I may ever watch.

The biggest Muay Thai/Kickboxing event in New York history took place last Saturday. We are already recognized promoting the biggest Muay Thai fights on this side of the world, now we promoted the biggest professional kickboxing fights in New York history, and it is due to these athletes that made it to Freedom.

Freedom 35 saw the biggest crowd ever to hit New York at the legendary @amazuranyc promoting 23 amazing fights, 8 championships, 4 professional fights and 4 championship title defenses, that ended with everyone in attendance and watching around the world seeing some upsets and the biggest knockouts ever.

It is our mission to continue to promote the best and biggest fights, from the elite fighters to the new comers, to give every fighter, everywhere we go, an equal opportunity.
