âNaturalâ means something different to everyone!
For my gorgeous bride, feeling like herself meant embracing the glam she lovesâbecause sheâs someone who does wear makeup day to day. Her version of ânaturalâ wasnât bare skin, but rather a softer full glam that still felt true to her.
To achieve this, I used natural tones to balance out the look so it didnât feel too harsh, while keeping all the elements she loves. A youthful pop of blush brought life back into the skin, bright under eyes gave that fresh radiance, and of course⌠the full flutter lashes tied it all together.
Yes, thereâs a good amount of makeup hereâbut itâs proof that ânaturalâ tones can still be glam.

Hey there! Iâm Gia DeMauro, and Iâm so excited youâre here! Iâm a makeup artist based in Rochester, NY, but I travel all overâboth nationally and internationallyâfor work.
My passion is all about making you feel beautiful and empowered. I specialize in bridal and special event makeup, and my style is a natural, soft glam that enhances the best version of you.
My makeup obsession started at 13, when I began practicing on friends and family. By 18, I got my NYS cosmetology license and jumped into the salon world. I always dreamed of working for MAC Cosmetics, and I got to live that dream by opening the first-ever MAC store in a salon!
At 21, I moved to NYC, studied international trade and marketing at FIT, and worked for MAC and Anastasia all over the city. Then, when COVID hit, I moved back home, started assisting in the bridal world, and instantly fell in love with it. Thatâs when I decided to take the leap and launch my own business!
Iâm so grateful to be a part of such special days and to help you feel like the most elevated version of yourself! đ

As a professional makeup artist, I often hear brides express concerns about their makeup: Will it last throughout the day? Will it look natural? Will it photograph beautifully? Let me clarifyâjust because weâre opting for a natural makeup look, it doesnât mean we sacrifice any of these important factors!
A natural finish can still be incredibly long-lasting and photogenic. The key lies in the techniques and products I use, which are specifically designed to enhance your features while ensuring your makeup stays put and looks stunning in photos.
By choosing the right formulas and applying them with precision, I can create a look that feels light and effortless, allowing you to shine on your special day without feeling weighed down. Remember, the goal is to enhance your natural beauty, making you feel like the best version of yourself!

The secret to skin looking like this for bridal makeup? It all starts with the skin underneath â¨
Keeping products simple and skin-focused helps everything layer beautifully, prevents pilling, and gives makeup the longevity every bride needs on her wedding day.
Some of my favorite products for creating that smooth, hydrated bridal base:
⢠Weleda Skin Food @weleda
⢠Glow Recipe Hyaluronic Spray @glowrecipe
⢠Jones Road Eye Cream @jonesroadbeauty
But beyond products, this bride was also consistent with professional facial treatments at our studio and invested in a skincare routine at home â and that truly makes all the difference.
Makeup can only enhance the skin youâre working with. Healthy, hydrated skin is always the foundation of flawless bridal glam #naturalbridalmakeup #rochesternymakeupartist #makeupeducation
To some people it may just look like makeup, but to me itâs so much more than that.
Getting to be a part of such special moments, bring someoneâs vision to life, and help people feel beautiful is something I never take for granted đ¤

Yes, this is a version of a smoky eye⌠but smoky doesnât always have to mean heavy đ¤
There are so many ways to keep it soft and sultry, and for this look I focused on diffusing the lash line so it melts into the eye instead of sitting on top of it. When she opens her eyes, it still feels effortlessânot overdone.
I also love keeping the rest of the face a little softer so the eyes can really stand out without competing.
Soft, blended, and just the right amount of sexy
