GH Phipps is proud to support the AFSP Colorado Construction Hike for Hope, and we hope you will join us.
According to data from the CDC, the construction industry has been found to have one of the highest rates of suicide in the United States. The goal of the Construction Hike for Hope initiative is to improve the mental health of construction workers through effective suicide prevention education, intervention, and postvention strategies to encourage, equip, and empower mental health champions in the workplace.
The hike takes place on Saturday, June 6th, at the National Western Center, a previous project location of ours. We are looking forward to walking in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and raising awareness for mental health.

On May 1st, GH Phipps was proud to sponsor the Littleton Public Schools Foundation Spirit Celebration, an inspiring evening dedicated to connection, community, and supporting the students of Littleton Public Schools. We're honored to support their continued investment in empowering students and creating opportunities for growth and success.
Yesterday, our team out at Cherry Creek Innovation Campus celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a taco truck, serving lunch to 200+ GH Phipps employees, craft workers, and trade partners. We appreciate these opportunities to bring everyone together on-site - rain and all!
This week, our team out at Cherry Creek Academy had the opportunity to spend time with a class of 26 curious 3rd graders, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at the work happening right at their school.
We taught them about the construction process, introduced them to the tools and equipment we use on site, and guided them on a tour of the jobsite where they got to see the progress of the very spaces that will become their classrooms next school year.
To wrap it up, the students put their creativity to work by designing floor plans of their dream classrooms, and let's just say the future of design is in good hands!

Last Saturday, GH Phipps partnered with students from the CU Denver College of Engineering, Design, and Computing’s Construction Management program to support the Food Forest initiative led by the Globeville Elyria Swansea (GES) Coalition. This inspiring organization works to address environmental inequities by transforming underutilized lots into vibrant, community-centered green spaces.
As part of their Senior Capstone project, students had the opportunity to apply skills they’ve developed over in a meaningful, hands-on setting. Together with GH Phipps, they demonstrated a shared commitment to giving back and strengthening the communities we serve.
This marked the second mobilization effort at the Food Forest site. As a team, we installed 250 linear feet of walkway, helping pave the way for a future learning pavilion. We’re also grateful to our partners at Steelock, who contributed by relocating a gate to improve material deliveries and repairing sections of the existing fence.
