"Glimpses of Unfamiliar Japan" is the title of the first track on our new Longstone album " Yaki". It's taken from the title of this book by Lafcadio Hearn.
I've posted an article about this at our Substack site ( / ) Where in addition to explaining the track and the reasons behind the title I've added a selection of photos taken while visiting Japan of Lafcadio's house and grave plus the park where ambient sounds were recorded. The spoken vocals on this track were read by @sarahwoodceramics and are taken from the book. You can listen to the track at our Bandcamp linked in the bio above.
