Teeth, my debut single, is out everywhere now 🐟🐟🐟
i wrote this song about my relationship to addiction and the many forms it can take. casey and i already had three or four other songs underway, but we both knew upon demoing Teeth that we had to flesh this one out sooner than later. he hit it with huge, boomy guitars that i've always been afraid to embrace as a long-time self-proclaimed "folk" artist, simple and anchored bass, ethereal synths, and dreamy, wispy riffs over the last section of the song. biff laid down drums that could duet those boomy guitars and provide a larger-than-life pulse to the song. then tim waved and his magic tim wand, brought each element into harmony with each other, and Teeth was born.
this song doesn't exist without casey's unparalleled production instincts coupled with his encouragement to throw anything at the wall and see what sticks. no ideas are off the table. i am so fucking grateful for him + the collective he's piecing together at ghosthaus.

hello! been a while. new music coming, next Friday, February 13th! this song, called “idc” was commissioned by @robin.leikucs :) Robin gave me a storyboard of ideas and sounds to explore, and I put this song together. This is also the first song I’ve mixed myself since Peachy, circa 2018. It was a ton of fun to work on!
