Wow, what a day! My heart is so full. Thank you, family and friends, for the beautiful outpouring of love on my birthday. Saying I’m overwhelmed is an understatement. Every gift, message, call, prayer, and kind word truly warmed my heart, and I felt the love from every corner. 💃 To be celebrated by such wonderful people is a gift I don’t take for granted. I feel deeply blessed and honored to be surrounded by such beautiful souls. You all made forty-five feel like something to truly celebrate. God bless you all abundantly. Eseun, Asante, Merci, Nagode ✌️🙏✌️🙏

It’s my birthday today and I want to take a minute to honor the year I’m leaving behind. Forty-four taught me a lot. More than I expected, honestly. It was a year of new experiences and fresh lessons, and somewhere in the middle of it all, I started growing in ways I didn’t see coming. In the waiting, I learnt patience in a different dimension. I learned that some seasons aren’t about rushing forward, they’re about building underneath. Whether it was working as a full-time career woman or living the quieter days in between as a wife, mother, or just Tolu, I kept learning to trust the process. This year wasn’t just about doing. It was about learning how to do things with intention, with grace, and with a friendlier heart toward myself. It asked me to slow down, to be patient, and to keep showing up even when I couldn’t see the whole picture. I’m starting to believe that how we move through our days matters just as much as what we get done in them. So, hello FORTY FIVE🥳🥳🥳. I’m walking in with a little more wisdom, a softer heart, and a lot of curiosity about what you’ve got for me.

I have come again. A tún ti dé o 😄 I was going through social media and stumbled on Mrs Ibukun Awosika’s message about inheritance. She touched on the story of Mephibosheth (a story I'm familar with) and that part really made me pause, ponder, and think deeply. King David woke up one day and said, “Is there still anyone left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness…?” Not because they qualified o, but because of a good deed that was done a very long time ago. ✌️ I hope you’re still with me o. Now, somewhere in the corner of life sat Mephibosheth. No status, no connections, just vibes and survival 😔. But his father, Jonathan, had done something powerful he built a relationship that could not expire. So one day, legacy made a call. King David remembered the father, Jonathan! 💃 And just like that, Mephibosheth, a man who was managing obscurity, got a permanent seat at the king’s table. No interview. No CV. Just surname benefits 😲 That’s how inheritance works. It is not always money. Sometimes, it is a name that enters a room before your child does. It begins now. With your words. With your actions. Because whether you like it or not, you are not just living life you are becoming an inheritance. So as you’re living your life, just know you’re either setting tables or removing chairs.(for your children/next generation) Cue Prayer Point: 🙏 Say after me, My Father, My Father, let my life build relationships and favor that will speak for my children in places I may never reach 💪 😱 Scream like fire is burning you, say Oluwa oooooo!!! May the seeds of kindness, honor, and truth I sow today rise as favor for my children tomorrow. 🙏🙏 Finally, go on your knees and say, Lord, help me to live in a way that generations after me will remember me with gratitude and walk in doors I opened in faith. 🙏

Apparently, I haven’t given you people my prayer stories lately… no wonder my friend requested another series 😋 I haven’t watched anything lately oo because of work😉. A real incident played out in my own house recently. Hmm… I gave a clear instruction to the housekeeper: “Share these items. Let it go round.”Simple. Direct. No room for confusion. Until later that same morning, I got a call my instructions had not been followed. What was meant for many was distributed to his own people. I was livid, why would he do that? So, I relieved him of his duties. People reached out on his behalf and I said No. My father suddenly called me that evening. Not a casual call… the kind that carries weight. He told me a story… titled: “Ọ̀tọ̀tọ̀ ẹyìn àná ìgbín.”. The tortoise and the snail were in-laws, The snail allegedly offended the tortoise (we were not there a ò mọ bí ó ṣe ṣẹlẹ̀ 😅). In anger, the tortoise tied him down. Left him there, bound, helpless and exposed. People on their way to the farm, saw him, reacted and was asking the snail. “Ah ah why would you do this to your in-law?” “Kilode to se se beyen”? “Koda o” But by evening everything changed. People on their way back from the farm started to ask different questions. The voices grew louder 🔊 “Ah! This is too much!” “Why is he still tied?” “Kini o ba ṣe fún ẹ?” (ask your Yoruba friends to interpret 😋) “Why are you holding on like this ? What began as justice started to smell like oppression. Not because the offense was erased but because mercy was delayed. Àánú tó pé, a di ìkà. That story made me pause in my anger, I acted quickly…it made me realise, it’s not just about acting, it’s about knowing when to stop. So I went back and made corrections, reinstated the housekeeper not because the offence didn’t matter, but because I understood that mercy also has its moment. And in that moment, It clicked: Àkókò ni gbogbo nkan. Cue prayer point: 🙏🏽 My Father My Father May we not miss the moment of release. May we not hold on past divine instruction. May we not turn justified action into public disgrace. Teach us timing. Teach us restraint. Teach us when to let go. Amin. 🙏🏽✨

It’s looking like my “drama-watching prayer point” might turn into a series 😂😂 (don’t get used to it o). The other day, I watched a K-drama called Hyena, lawyers using all sorts of unethical tactics to win cases and even creating propaganda against each other. Quite enlightening, if I’m being honest. Cue prayer point: My Father, my Father all law makers and those using law makers to create unnecessary chaos and drama, let their workings be overturned, Let divine Justice Prevail. Amen!

Hmmmm, let me tell you people a story today (don’t judge me oo 🌚😋) so you can understand me a little. There’s this thing I do my kids will say ahah mummy, my husband says kí ló ń ṣe, girl yìí! (now he has taken the wheel and I get to relax a bit, àkúkú ni sùn orùn ìyá! 😂) (you’ll probably need a translator oo). Even my friends say Tolúùù, kí la gbé, kí la jù! Anyways, the reason for all these exclamations is how I turn everything into prayer there’s a prayer point in everything around me. I experienced something some days ago, hmmm it was like a Yoruba film (cue dramatic Yoruba music 🎶), pacing around dramatically, I looked at myself and asked, kí ló ṣẹlẹ̀, èmi náà! Cue prayer point: Olúwa, má jẹ́ kí ayé yọ ọwọ́ rẹ kúrò lára mi! Amin! Fast forward to one series I saw on Instagram I have 5 apps I already subscribed to for a year on each 🙈, they chase me around social media for weeks before I watch them. But I saw this particular one, it was love at first sight. I resisted for just a day, but on our second date I decided to go for it. The title is _One Move God Mode._ It was interesting oo, there are some wicked uncles in this life they frustrate you for no reason (you probably have met some of them in life, àkúkú mọ̀ wọn dáadáa!). Cue prayer point 😭: Any uncle the devil is using to delay our destiny, Holy Spirit please touch their hearts 😊. Amin! And there is this Captain kí ni kan, kí ni kan! (I have forgotten the name 😅) who was looking at the guy like, is he the one or not the one. Cue prayer point: May all the captains who are supposed to recognize the power in us not doubt our capabilities and come to our aid on time in Jesus’ name. Amen! The hero of the story suffered o there was a lot of bragado and power display. At one point, they chained him down and set him on fire. After a long wait, his father Poseidon showed up, furious, and screamed, “How dare you hurt my son?” The boy shouted, Fatherrr! And like a whirlwind, Poseidon came through and saved him. Seee another prayer point I shouted, My Father, my Father! 😂 show up for us and quench every fireeee 🔥. Amen!!!😉

Happy International Women's Day. Be the woman who carries it all. Grace in how you move, ambition in what you chase, style in how you show up, and standards in what you accept. You don’t have to shrink to fit in. You can be soft and strong, driven and elegant, all at once. #ATO #IWD
