Reflection post
I started Dead is Dead about 6 years ago. I remember struggling to get to 100 subscribers, and now I’m trying to get to 1k. I can’t believe how close I am. It’s been a long road, with many twists and turns. I’ve had many blessings, like meeting new people, getting the opportunity to collaborate with friends and other business partners, and meeting actual fans of the comic. I am truly thankful for that.
I’ve also seen the dark side of my comic– roadblocks, getting pages from my comic censored and removed, to haters. People, trying to tear me down, saying my art isn’t good- it’s trash, I should stop drawing and storytelling altogether… but as Stan Lee once said, ”If you have an idea that you genuinely think is good, don't let some idiot talk you out of it." I genuinely do believe in my comic. So, I’m going to keep going with it, even if it takes me another 6 years to get to where I want to be.
I know I’ll make you and my hometown proud of me. I don’t know what lies ahead for my comic, but I know it’ll be worth it. I’ll see you guys in the next post. Hope you guys are doing well. Thank you again for supporting and spreading the word about my comic. Until next time~
So. I went to the swap meet and brought this backpack. As soon as I saw it it gave me Jurassic park vibes specifically the character Dennis Nedry, when he's out in the rain. So, as soon as I got home... I knew I had a Jurassic park patch somewhere.. found it and sewed it on there.
This is now one of my favorite bags. Lolz
Best part, my water bottle fits!! This is going to be my summer school bag.
I think it came out cute. What do you guys think?

Your Digital Identity Starts Here!!
Hello! So recently, a friend of mine made me this digital business card. I was constantly using normal business cards (the one on the left), but sometimes forgot to carry some, but now, I have this digital one (the pure black one) that allows me to tap the card onto a phone and take new readers to my site. No longer do I have to carry so many cards; just one card gets the job done and shows others my site!
So if you have a business, and need to promote yourself, I definitely suggest giving my friend a call or message so you can get yours today.
Make networking smarter with digital cards.
No printing. No limits. Just instant sharing.
Perfect for social media, businesses, freelancers & influencers.

Hello everyone! My name is Maria Leon, though many of you know me as GGscribbles, the creator of Dead is Dead on Webtoon Canvas.
I’ve been writing and drawing this comic for over six years now. The journey has been long, challenging, and incredibly fulfilling. As I work toward my dream of becoming a mangaka, there have been plenty of obstacles that slowed me down, but somehow—I’ve kept going.
I want to thank God, my readers, my family, and my friends for all the support you’ve shown me. Your encouragement, your shares, and your kind words have kept me moving forward. I still remember struggling to reach my first 100 subscribers, and now I’m only four hundred away from a milestone I’ve dreamed about. I know I’m close, and I’m genuinely proud of how far this story has come.
But I also know this is just the beginning. I have a long way to go, big plans ahead, and even more stories to tell. I hope that as I continue growing, I can also help other artists along the way. I’ve done a few collabs already, and they definitely won’t be the last! I’m even considering reprinting the first comic in its current form.
If you’d like to support me and help me get closer to my goals, please consider sharing and subscribing to my Webtoon. Every bit helps—and remember, it’s completely free.
Thank you again for all your love and support. It means the world to me.
