Lais is one of the nine newbie comedians who made it to the finals of Tuna: Tiny Underground Newbie Award, the year-round competition where every month the comedy scene picks their Newbie of the Month.
With 2025 now behind us, it’s time to award the ultimate title: Big Fish, or Newbie of the Year.
With her undeniable stage presence, powerful delivery and guts to do crowd interactions Lais is an obvious finalist. Rotterdam based, she is a frequent performer all over the Netherlands and is a promising talent that we will hear a lot of in the future, no doubt.
