yeah so i played my songs at the literal royal albert hall with a literal orchestra and a literal choir. no worries
i genuinely have not even begun processing this at all and maybe never will? i don’t even know how to speak about it?? standing on that stage and looking at the room around me was so surreal i felt like i was wearing a VR headset AHHH i cannot believe any of it was even real AHHHHHHHHHHHH i want to do it again and again and again forever and ever
fank you so much to the insanely talented hannah lam for arranging my songs with so much care, to all the amazing musicians i shared this ridonkulous experience with (most especially my gorgeous band), and to the team at mfy and the royal albert hall for making this darn thing happen!!!!
the last few days have been absolutely bonkers it has been a most gorgeous privilege to absorb the love shown to me and the EP by so many peeeeople… my songs are so personal and so vulnerable and the fact that people listen to them with such thought and engagement of their own volition (apart from the thousands of people last night who i physically restrained and performed to against their will) is coocoo bananas. when i said may payne world domination 2024 i didn’t tell a lie!
i am the luckiest person alive & i will remember this for the rest of my life :’)
i have 0 words to say how special my first ever headline gig was :’) i cannot believe u guys sold it out!!!!!
honestly i have never ever enjoyed playing music so so much, you guys made me feel so comfortable to share and gab and Perform!!!! the past 2 days i have been walking on a cloud feeling so affirmed and happy and excited :’)
i have much footage to share with u guys and much to say & very little ability to put it all into words but for now GOSH i just have to say the biggest thank u ever to everyone who made it possible! to my wonderful friends who played music with me!! and especially you guys who showed tf up ESPECIALLY the people who traveled from afar to come see me play my songs that is just nuts and awesome and silly!
